Journal of Bone Metabolism (J Bone Metab, JBM) is the official journal of the Korean Society for Bone and Mineral Research and the Korean Society of Sarcopenia. JBM is an open access journal published quarterly on the following dates each year: February 28, May 31, August 31, and November 30. The ultimate objective of the journal is the advancement of the research of bone, muscle and mineral metabolism as well as human health through providing space for ensuring and exchanging updated information among members and other international societies. The journal provides an international forum for researchers and clinicians to present and discuss relevant issues in bone and mineral research. The editorial board calls for manuscripts that originate from worldwide research or clinical study groups and the publication is determined by the reviewers who are experts in the specific field of bone and mineral research. The categories of manuscripts are original articles, case reports, reviews, editorials and letters to the editor. All the manuscripts should be creative, informative and useful in contributing to the field of bone and mineral metabolism, and muscle. This journal was supported by the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST) Grant funded by the Korean Government (MEST).
